Le Cèdre first opened its doors on Badenerstrasse in 1996, laying the foundation for what is now one of Zurich's most renowned Lebanese restaurants. What began as a passion for authentic cuisine and genuine Lebanese hospitality has grown over the decades into a firmly established institution in Zurich's culinary scene. Badenerstrasse is and remains the heart of Le Cèdre: the place where it all began.
Our extensive menu offers a diverse selection of authentic Lebanese dishes. At its heart is the mezze: a generous selection of small plates such as hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, falafel, kibbeh, and labneh, perfect for sharing, enjoying, and lingering over. The mezze dishes can be wonderfully combined as an appetizer or as a complete meal, complemented by grilled meat skewers or one of our main courses. Meat, fish, or vegetarian – we're happy to help you create the perfect menu.
Our two-story restaurant on Badenerstrasse can accommodate up to 180 people, making it ideal for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, and Christmas dinners. Our Bedouin tents are especially popular—exclusive, semi-private spaces for 12 to 18 people, furnished with comfortable sofas and soft cushions, inspired by traditional Bedouin tents. Here, you can enjoy both privacy and a wonderful atmosphere.
